Now hiring: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma. The role involves: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser What we are looking for: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Full-time with occasional weekends.
