Immediate opening: punch press operator (Texas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a punch press operator in Wilbarger County, Texas. The job is at a busy press shop. Day to day you will load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; record output and downtime on the production sheet; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean. Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Pay around $12,000 per project, based on your experience.
