Formwork carpenter wanted in Schuyler County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Schuyler County, Illinois. You will be based on a commercial fit-out site. You should have: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Own basic hand tools • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience You will measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $26 per hour, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
