Rebar installer wanted in Rush County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar installer in Rush County, Kansas. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. On a typical shift you will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules 6+ years on the tools preferred. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
