Skimming plasterer — DeWitt County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in DeWitt County, Illinois. You will be based at a new-build housing development. On a typical shift you will float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; check walls for plumb and level as you go; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming. You should have: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Full-time, day shift. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
