Backhoe loader operator wanted in Alexander County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Alexander County, North Carolina. The job is at a plant hire yard. On the job you will handle: • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures 5+ years on the tools preferred.
