Concrete labourer — Northumberland

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Northumberland, England. You will work on a high-rise construction site. What we are looking for: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Physically fit and comfortable working at height Day to day you will cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. £2,650 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
