Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Clay County, Texas. The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Six days a week, one day off.
