Blocklayer — Arkansas County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Arkansas County, Arkansas. You will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
