Canteen cook • Solihull, England

We are recruiting: we are hiring a canteen cook in Solihull, England. You will work in a hotel kitchen. What we are looking for: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate Day to day you will plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £2,200 per month, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
