We are recruiting: we are hiring a hand presser in Stanislaus County, California. You will work in a busy laundry. Day to day you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; give each garment a final press before packing; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
