Abattoir worker — Crosby County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Crosby County, Texas. The job is at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Day-to-day duties: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Season and marinate meat on request • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights You should have: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Full-time with occasional weekends.
