Vacancy available: we are hiring an escalator technician in Perry County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. On the job you will handle: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Rotating shifts.
