We are recruiting: road roller operator (Washington)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a road roller operator in Douglas County, Washington. You will work at a stone quarry. The role involves work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment. What we are looking for: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
