TIG welder — Johnson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a TIG welder in Johnson County, Indiana. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. You will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
