Lifting rigger wanted in Bristol County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Bristol County, Massachusetts. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. On the job you will handle: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Full-time with occasional weekends.
