Confectioner — Grayson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a confectioner in Grayson County, Texas. You should have: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Food handler / hygiene certificate Day to day you will roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
