Join our team: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Josephine County, Oregon. The job is on a commercial construction site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks On a typical shift you will building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Share your details and we will call you back.
