Brickwork mason — Ransom County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Ransom County, North Dakota. Day-to-day duties: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
