Mobile crane operator — Gallatin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Gallatin County, Kentucky. Requirements: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Able to read load charts and lifting plans The role involves hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams.
