We are recruiting: press shop operator (Tennessee)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press shop operator in Cannon County, Tennessee. On a typical shift you will clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses. Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
