Ladle pourer — Faribault County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Faribault County, Minnesota. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Day to day you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
