Turning centre operator • Colfax County, New Mexico

Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Colfax County, New Mexico. Day to day you will load and index turning tools in the turret; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; write and edit G-code programs at the control; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers. What we are looking for: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Full-time, day shift. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
