Groundworker • Lunenburg County, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundworker in Lunenburg County, Virginia. You will be based on a residential housing site. What we are looking for: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites Day-to-day duties: • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel Full-time, day shift.
