Cnc lathe operator — Blount County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Blount County, Alabama. Day-to-day duties: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Load and index turning tools in the turret What we are looking for: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Six days a week, one day off.
