Fabricator-welder — Luzerne County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. You will work at an automobile body shop. The role involves check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
