Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry worker in Dawson County, Nebraska. The job is on the moulding line. Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Basic grinding and fettling skills On a typical shift you will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
