Immediate opening: we are hiring a steam press operator in Buckingham County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Give each garment a final press before packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Six days a week, one day off.
