Join our team: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Jasper County, Illinois. You will be based in a textile mill. On the job you will handle: • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
