Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in City of Alexandria, Virginia. The role involves write and edit G-code programs at the control; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Full-time with occasional weekends.
