Vacancy available: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Blackpool, England. You will work at a textile finishing unit. Day to day you will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
