Fusing press operator — Brunswick County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Brunswick County, Virginia. You will be based in a busy laundry. You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings On the job you will handle: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
