PVC window installer — Preston County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Preston County, West Virginia. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. Day to day you will insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
