Formwork carpenter — Hillsborough County

Join our team: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Hillsborough County, Florida. You will work at an infrastructure construction site. Requirements: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing On the job you will handle: • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement 5+ years on the tools preferred.
