Now hiring: we are hiring an insulation worker in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. You will be based on a high-rise façade. Your main tasks: • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors You should have: • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane 1+ years on the tools preferred.
