Vacancy available: bread and bun maker (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in City of Fairfax, Virginia. You will be based at a busy bakery. Day-to-day duties: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Score the top of loaves before baking • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity What we are looking for: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Performance bonus on top of base pay.
