Immediate opening: D6/D8 dozer operator (Alabama)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Lauderdale County, Alabama. The job is on a quarry floor. Day to day you will carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily. Requirements: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
