Crane operator — Bourbon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane operator in Bourbon County, Kentucky. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. The role involves work out the load weight and the lifting radius; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift. Requirements: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Full-time, day shift.
