Offshore rigger — Marshall County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Marshall County, Kansas. On the job you will handle: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Full-time, day shift. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
