Great opportunity: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Lubbock County, Texas. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging The role involves park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams.
