Immediate opening: crawler dozer operator (Virginia)

Join our team: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in City of Buena Vista, Virginia. You will work at an open-cast mine. Day to day you will backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; refuel the machine and record running hours; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle. You should have: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections Part-time with flexible hours.
