Trainee butcher — Kudan

Great opportunity: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Kudan, Kaduna State. The role involves: • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
