Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Sussex County, New Jersey. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Your main tasks: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish Full-time, day shift.
