Line cook — Macon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a line cook in Macon County, Illinois. The job is in a hotel kitchen. Day to day you will cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; prepare the mise en place before each service; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch. You should have: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
