Shuttering fixer — Winnebago County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Winnebago County, Illinois. You will be based on a busy high-rise construction site. The role involves: • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints You should have: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing 4+ years on the tools preferred.
