Restoration bricklayer — Bingham County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Bingham County, Idaho. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. Day to day you will bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
