Lathe programmer-operator — Pine County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Pine County, Minnesota. You should have: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred The role involves: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
