Precision welder — Wilkinson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a precision welder in Wilkinson County, Georgia. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight 5+ years on the tools preferred.
