Join our team: we are hiring a core maker in Cleburne County, Arkansas. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Day-to-day duties: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
