Sewing machine operator — Monroe County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Monroe County, Iowa. Day to day you will press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
